As part of its commitment to promoting education, academic excellence, and the development of neighbouring communities, Scanning Systems held the 5th edition of its Awards Ceremony for Outstanding Students and Teachers on 11 August 2026 in Cinkansé.
During the ceremony, eight (8) high-achieving students who excelled in the CEP, BEPC, and Baccalaureate examinations were honoured with awards including school supplies, bicycles, and financial support.
For the first time, six (6) teachers, three (3) from Burkina Faso and three (3) from Togo, were also recognised for their dedication to students’ success and academic achievement. This initiative reflects Scanning Systems’ commitment to fostering excellence, perseverance, and equal opportunities, while strengthening the bonds between border communities in Burkina Faso and Togo.
Since 2009, Scanning Systems has operated the Cinkansé Joint Border Post (JBP) and, alongside its operational activities, has implemented several community-focused initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of local populations.
