Donation of a hydraulic pump to Hornogo village

On Tuesday 28 May 2019, during an inaugural ceremony, Scanning Systems donated a hydraulic pump to the people of Hornogo village, a settlement in the Yargatenga municipality located about 4 km from the Cinkansé Juxtaposed Border Control Posts.

The ceremony was attended by:

  • Mr. Marane Bougré Souleymane, first Deputy Mayor (the Mayor being absent for unavoidable reasons)
  • The chief of Hornogo village accompanied by traditional chiefs, and their communities, made up largely of women
  • The district’s military and paramilitary authorities

For Scanning Systems, this substantial donation brings some welcome relief to the women who have to search for drinking water on a daily basis, and will help to considerably reduce the absence of young girls from school.

The First Deputy Mayor of Yargatenga, who was very pleased, warmly congratulated the company for this precious gift and expressed his pleasure at Scanning Systems’ presence in Yargatenga, because, he said, “this company has never ceased to provide positive support to the local populations living near the JBCPs through its various actions, which have been carried out regularly over the past few months.”
