Awarding of an Excellence Prize to the Top Students in the End-of-Year Exams in Cinkansé and Cinkassé

On September 3, 2024, the 3rd edition of the Excellence Award, established by SCANNING SYSTEMS in 2018, took place in the conference hall of the Joint Border Posts (PCJ) in Cinkansé.

During this award ceremony, held from 10 AM to 12 PM, fourteen (14) laureates from schools in the two localities of Cinkansé (Burkina Faso and Togo) received significant prizes from the hands of Scanning Systems officials, recognizing their outstanding results in the following exams: CEPE/CEPD – BEPC – BAC 1 and BAC.

The total value of the prizes exceeded 3.6 million FCFA and included the following:

  • A cash prize of 100,000 FCFA for each laureate from CEPE/CEPD to BAC 1
  • A bicycle, dictionaries, and school supplies including a backpack for each CEPE/CEPD and BEPC laureate
  • A cash prize of 400,000 FCFA for each BAC laureate

Several local authorities graced the ceremony with their presence, including:

  • The Prefect of Cinkassé (Togo),
  • The Prefect of Yargatenga (Burkina Faso),
  • The Mayor of Cinkassé (Togo),
  • The Regional Director of Education of Cinkassé (Togo),
  • Two Princes of the Cinkassé area (Togo),
  • The Village Chief of Cinkansé,
  • Parents, teachers, and some local residents.

All these personalities congratulated and thanked the Scanning Systems team, led by Mr. Albert MANE, the Resident Representative in Burkina Faso.

A cocktail was shared with all participants at the end of the ceremony.
