This follows the interministerial meeting of 24 February 2026, led by the Ministry of Transport, during which the implementation of border‑control services was confirmed as a national priority.
On this date, the various agencies — Customs, Police, Health Services, Phytosanitary Services, and Water and Forests — formally began their duties on site.
