On 15 January 2026, Mr. Albert Mané, Scanning Systems’ Resident Representative in Burkina Faso, conducted a field mission to the Laléraba Joint Border Posts (PCJ), located on the border between Côte d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso.
This modern cross‑border infrastructure plays a pivotal role in facilitating trade, strengthening regional integration, and supporting the harmonization of customs procedures within the UEMOA area. Its strategic importance is shared by both States, which view the PCJ as a key lever for improving the efficiency of transnational flows.
During the visit, supported by in‑depth discussions held beforehand and on site, Mr. Mané noted the strong interest and clear commitment expressed by all stakeholders regarding the effective commissioning of the Laléraba PCJ. Their mobilization reflects the growing expectations surrounding the operationalization of this major regional project.
Through this field engagement, Scanning Systems reaffirms its dedication to supporting States and regional bodies in modernizing border management systems and promoting smoother, safer, and more integrated trade corridors.
