Scanning Systems Mobilizes Staff and Local Communities for Public Health Through Blood Donation Initiative

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments, Scanning Systems organized the first edition of its Blood Donation Day at the Laléraba Joint Border Posts (PCJ) and at the Head Office in Abidjan, in partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Center of Côte d’Ivoire (CNTS‑CI).

Two solidarity-driven events were held on 13 and 18 December 2025.

“Blood donation is a vital civic act that saves lives every day. As a socially responsible company, we felt it was important to mobilize both our teams and the local communities surrounding our PCJ sites,” stated Scanning Systems’ General Management.

Strong Community Mobilization in Laléraba

On 13 December, the initiative received significant support from village leaders, women’s associations, and youth groups.
Eighty-five voluntary donors, mostly women, contributed alongside the on‑site Scanning Systems team led by Director Mr. Gnangbé.
All collected units were transferred to CNTS‑CI to support healthcare needs in northern Côte d’Ivoire.

Additional Solidarity Actions

  • Donation of essential medicines valued at over 500,000 FCFA to the Laléraba rural health center
  • Distribution of corporate items to participants

Strong Employee Engagement in Abidjan

On 18 December, the blood donation campaign continued at the CNTS Cocody, with the active participation of staff members from both Scanning Systems and its holding company TASSEC.
More than a dozen employees took part in this collective effort.

The event concluded with a friendly team lunch, reinforcing unity and employee engagement.

A Lasting Commitment to Public Health

This initiative marks a significant step in Scanning Systems’ broader dedication to public health, community solidarity, and local development.
The company plans to make Blood Donation Day an annual event, strengthening a culture of social responsibility and community support.

Scanning Systems remains committed to working with health institutions and local communities to ensure the continuity and impact of these initiatives.
