The second edition of the presentation of an Excellence Award to the top primary and secondary school leavers for the 2018-2019 academic year, took place on Thursday 22 August 2019 in Cinkansé in a joyful atmosphere.
Held in the Cinkansé Juxtaposed Border Control Post conference room, this ceremony was an opportunity for Scanning Systems to once again reward Cinkansé and Cinkassé’s most outstanding students in the various end-of-year exams in this area.
The prizes, worth a total of nearly 2 million CFA francs, consisted of the following for each grade:
- BACCALAUREATE: A laptop and a cash prize
- PROBATIONARY TECHNICAL & JUNIOR CERTIFICATES: A tablet, a large Robert dictionary and a cash prize
- PRIMARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE: A tablet, a small Robert dictionary and a cash prize
The award ceremony began at 11 a.m. and ended at 12 p.m. It was attended by the representative of the Yargatenga Mayor’s Office, the Secretary General of the Cinkansé prefecture, a representative of the Cinkansé village chief, the Prince of Cinkassé, the headmasters of the winners, the parents and teachers, and officials from the authorities working at the JBCPs.
In turn, the Secretary General of the prefecture and the representative of the Cinkansé village chief thanked Scanning Systems for this fine gesture towards the pupils, and encouraged our company to pursue this initiative.
The winners and school parents said they had no words to describe their delight and great pride.
The ceremony ended with a drinks reception.
